救急初期診療で用いられる代表的な侵襲的手技である外科的気道確保については、解剖献体を用いた臨床解剖学教育による局所解剖の理解がマネキンによるトレーニングと組み合わせることにより有用であった。また、重症外傷患者に対する手術を想定して行った胸腹骨盤部の臨床解剖学教育、とくにホルマリン未固定の献体による臨床解剖は実際の手術と視野展開が類似しており、非常に有用であった。
