低体重児に対する新生児マススクリーニングにおいて, 先天性代謝異常症の高頻度な偽陽性が問題となっている. 我々は, スクリーニング初回検査に調製済みの血液濾紙を再利用して, 高速液体クロマトグラフィー-質量分析法 (LC-MS)を基盤とする上記疾患の病態分子マーカーの精密定量法の開発を行った. この結果, 本法が疾患の精密再検証に有効であることが示唆された. また, 臨床現場での実用化を指向して, 移動相に水のみを使用する温度応答性クロマトグラフィーによる生体試料分析の検討を行った. 本法によりサル血中麻酔薬の分析, 動態解析が可能であった.
