都市において年月の経過による緑量回復の可能性を明らかにするため、開発年度の異なる住宅団地を対象に緑量を測定し比較した。また、庭の緑が地域へ貢献することに関し、住民の意識調査を行った。結果、年月の推移により緑の回復が見込まれた。また、庭の緑の効果が及ぶ地域範囲に対する住民の意識構造が明らかになった。以上の結果をもとに、今後、小規模な住居の緑の集積が地域や都市の緑環境へ貢献するための方策を検討した。
