ゲノムマイクロアレイは次世代シーケンサーに比べて低コスト・簡便・迅速に検査を行うことができ、得られた結果から即座にFISH解析へ移行する事も可能である。高密度BACマイクロアレイを平成16年12月より自前で作製している。また、これまでの研究において検出感度の向上、実験の簡便化、専用スキャナーを使用することなく肉眼でシグナルを確認できる方法を独自に開発し、簡易検査装置の作製も行った。
