プロテインアレイ法はわれわれが開発した白血球表面抗原の解析法(immunophenotyping : IP法)であり、重度外傷・熱傷患者における免疫能の評価に臨床応用することを本研究の目的とした。健常人5人および熱傷・外傷患者10人に対して、全18種類 (CD4/8/11c/16b/25/36/66b/68/123/127/161, TLR-2/4, CCR-2/4/5, CXCR-3, CRTh2)のIP解析を計22回施行した。本法は外傷・熱傷患者においても迅速・簡便に解析可能であった。本法によるIP解析は、外傷・熱傷患者における感染症や多臓器不全の予知に応用できる可能性が示唆された。
