マイクロ流体デバイスを用いた培養液中の細胞膜・液体間イオン輸送制御技術の確立を目標として、エバネッセント波照射による細胞屈折率および電位の非侵襲センシング技術の開発を行った。正常細胞と培養液との屈折率差をエバネッセント波照射による細胞・液体界面から発生する散乱光強度を撮像することにより、屈折率非侵襲センシング技術の開発を行った。二色ナノLIF法を確立し、電位時空間分布カラーイメージングに成功した。
