本稿は, 『平成17(2005)年産業連関表』が公表されたことにともない, 平成17(2005)年環境分析用産業連関表の推計を行い, その推計の方法を詳細に報告したものである. 本稿は, 日本の主要なエネルギー統計の1つである『石油等消費構造統計』が中止され, 『エネルギー消費統計』が新設される過渡期という情報収集が困難な状況下で推計された試みである. 環境分析用産業連関表が推計されたことによって, 現時点で最新の日本のCO2排出構造を, 経済活動(アクティビティ)別に詳細に分析するデータベースが整えられた.
