肝細胞のアミノ酸合成能を加味した11C-メチオニンPET/CTによる分肝機能評価法の臨床的有用性を検討した。至適撮像条件の検討、つぎに精度向上のための呼吸同期法を検討すると共に、CTとPETの融合画像から分肝機能評価が可能なソフトウェアを開発した。その結果、CTの解剖情報を元にした肝区域ごとのメチオニン集積の解析が可能となり、正常例では体積と機能がほぼ正比例した。今後肝機能低下例や手術症例に施行し、従来の体積による評価法との比較検討が必要である。
