目的は、(1)未熟児網膜症眼底検査前の散瞳時の光環境(通常処置時照度と低照度)に対する超早産児の反応を比較すること、(2)未熟児網膜症眼底検査の影響を明らかにすることである。対象は、(1)7名(25週6日～29週3日、718g～1360g)、(2)7名(23週2日～28週0日、496～1160g)であり、酸素飽和度、唾液コルチゾールを分析した結果、(1)28.6ルクス(20～38)の低照度ではストレス反応が減弱する、(2)眼底検査後2時間までコルチゾール値は高いまま推移することが明らかになった。
