本研究は、ナノポア中ヘリウム同位体混合液のエネルギー離散化を利用して超低温を生成する新手法を開発することと、ヘリウム3を用いた準粒子スピントロニクスを開拓することを目的とする。ポーラスアルミナの表面に金を堆積させ、細孔が直径10nm程度まで狭窄化することに成功した。この手法を追求することで、エネルギー離散化が顕著に表れる直径5nm程度のナノポアアレイの作成手法を確立できる見通しが立った。
