プロテインマイクロアレイは、１枚のスライド上に数千種類のタンパク質を固定したもので、大規模なタンパク質相互作用の検出などに利用されている。我々は、鋳型DNAと抗体をスライド上に固定し、スライド上でタンパク質を合成・捕捉するオンチップ転写翻訳マイクロアレイを開発した。さらに我々は、1つのスポット内で2種類のタンパク質を同時に発現させ、相互作用解析を行うオンチップ共発現マイクロアレイを開発した。この手法では解析するタンパク質をマトリックス状に組み合わせることで、1枚のスライド上で多対多の相互作用解析が可能となる。この系を用いて、転写因子Junとその結合候補因子群をモデルとして、タンパク質間およびタンパク質・DNA相互作用の検出に成功した。
