監査人に対して有限責任制を導入したときの監査リスクへの影響を分析した。有限責任制の導入によって、固有リスクが高くなり、発見リスクは低くなるものの、全体としての監査リスクは高くなる。また、確定決算主義のモデル分析を行なった。操作前利益に含まれる不確実性が十分に大きい場合か、経営者の報酬スキームについて情報の非対称性があまり大きくない場合、確定決算主義にもとづく会計利益のほうが価値関連性が高いことがわかった。
