本研究では, 転位枯渇に対応する臨界分解せん断応力モデルを提案するとともに, 均質化法を導入して転位-結晶粒-マクロ構造といった3階層にまたがるマルチスケール結晶塑性モデルを構築することによって, FCC超微細粒金属に発現する特異な力学的挙動(粒径減少に伴う強度上昇と延性低下, 降伏点降下, Lüders帯伝ぱ)を計算力学的に再現することに成功した. また, 超微細粒材の中に粗大粒を混在させてBimodal構造にすることで, 延性が改善するメカニズムについても検討した.
