樹立した2株のイマチニブ耐性株について薬剤抵抗性機能を評価した結果、ABCトランスポーターであるABCC2及びABCC5の発現強度の亢進、また、Src及びErk1/2のリン酸化亢進が検出された。更に、Srcの阻害剤であるPP2及びイマチニブ併用により耐性株に対する抗腫瘍効果の増強作用が認められた。イマチニブ耐性株は、ABCトランスポーターを高発現させることで薬剤ストレスに対する抵抗性を獲得し、Src及びErk1/2の活性化が耐性株の増殖及び生存を向上させている可能性が示唆された。
