マウス前立腺癌細胞株TRAMP-C1にルシフェラーゼ発現遺伝子を遺伝子導入したTRAMP-C1/CBRを作成し、mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)を併用して、マウスに正所性に細胞を移植させ、腫瘍の生着および遠隔転移について検討を行った。ヌードマウス (BALB/c nu/nu)ではTRAMP-C1/CBR細胞の正着率は良好で、luciferinへの反応も概ね良好であった。癌細胞とMSCを同時に移植することで、細胞の局所での浸潤能は増強されたが、残念ながら明らかな骨への転移は確認できなかった。
