耳科学・聴覚医学における次世代トランスレーショナルリサーチに向け、小型霊長類コモンマーモセットの側頭骨および聴覚中枢の解剖・画像評価と耳科手術のための局所解剖を検討した。側頭骨局所解剖について多くの知見を得ると同時に安全で確実な中耳手術手技のためのメルクマールを得た。7T-MRIとクライオプローブを用いて、蝸牛～蝸牛神経～蝸牛神経核～中脳各核(オリーブ核、外側毛帯、中脳下丘)の神経走行の描出に成功した。
