基本構造の多数繰返しからなる構造体の高速動的手法の開発と、マイクロガスタービンエンジンMEMS燃焼器の設計・加工・燃焼実験を目的としている。モデル縮約によりPCで並列高速計算が行える上に、荷重条件の不確かさを考慮して低確率でしか起きない事象も逃さずに予測できる実用的手法と、保炎器の約1,000個ものノズルの整列不整の影響を予測する確率均質化法などを開発した。燃焼実験において約1150K～1350Kの安定燃焼を確認できた。
