肺線維症は国が難治性疾患のひとつに指定している治療難渋な肺疾患のひとつである。今回我々は魚油に多く含まれるEPA由来抗炎症性脂質メディエーターレゾルビンE1(RvE1)ならびに高容量EPAをブレオマイシン誘導性マウス肺線維症モデルに投与し抗炎症効果ならびに肺線維化抑制効果を明らかにした。また高容量EPAを投与した肺を用いて網羅的脂質解析を行ったところRvE1以外の脂質メディエーターが検出され、これらが抗線維化作用をもつメディエーターである可能性が示唆された。
