本研究は、高機能性蛍光・磁性ビーズ(FF ビーズ)に上皮細胞で発現している抗原に対する抗体を固定し、血液中や便中の上皮細胞を効率よく磁気回収を行い、回収した細胞を用いての診断を行うことを目的とした。抗EGFR抗体固定化FF ビーズとA431(EGFR高発現株)を用い、細胞回収率の検討を行った。回収した細胞を用いてのタンパク質発現や遺伝子異常の検索、癌細胞の同定は臨床検体を用いるには至らなかった。また、大腸癌担癌患者における血清bFGFと、大腸癌細胞の上皮細胞および血管内皮細胞に発現しているPLGFの検討を行った。静脈侵襲および術前CEA値との間に有意な相関を認めた。
