Abelson virus のcDNAの取得を試み、全長クローンの同定に成功した。Direct sequence法を用いて遺伝子配列の解析を行ったところ、遺伝子配列には問題がないことが確認された。現在cDNAの両端に制限酵素サイトを付して、レトロウイルスベクターへの挿入を試みているところである。レトロウイルスベクターが完成次第、ヒト由来単球細胞へ遺伝子導入し、不死化ヒト破骨細胞前駆細胞株の樹立を試みたいと考えている。
