本研究計画においてはPCRアレイを用いてMecp2欠失マウスの病態におけるNF-kBシグナルの関与に関して解析を行った。NF-kBシグナル関連遺伝子84個を網羅したPCRアレイを用いて、Mecp2欠失脳におけるNF-kBシグナル関連因子の発現変化を解析したところ、Il6やTnfを含む多数の下流因子がMecp2欠失大脳新皮質において発現が上昇していることを明らかにした。
