大脳皮質興奮性を向上させる効果のある経頭蓋直流電気刺激の陽極刺激中に運動課題を実施し、機能的MRIによる脳活動評価を行った。陽極刺激前に比し、刺激後には、運動課題時の一次感覚運動野の脳活動が小さくなるという結果を得た。本研究の結果は、運動学習中に陽極刺激を実施すると、陽極刺激だけよりも、運動学習が促通されるという報告を裏付けるものと考えられた。以上より、陽極刺激中に運動課題を実施する有効性が、機能的MRIによる脳活動評価により明らかとなった。
