中間, 高リスク前立腺癌に対して, 低線量率小線源治療を主軸とした複数のモダリティによる治療方法による有効な治療範囲の拡大, 治療強度の増加が必要である. 線量計算のモデリングを行い検証した結果, 単一線源に対する任意点での線量計算値の違いは1%未満であった. 小線源治療の線量分布を利用することで, 外部照射の線量分布との重ね合わせが可能であった. 小線源治療の物理線量と生物学的に等価な線量に変換したEUDを測定し, 有害事象予測に有用なツールとなる可能性が示唆された.
