有酸素運動開始前のヒト血中脂肪酸分画と体脂肪組成、経口糖負荷試験(OGTT)時の各指標との関連を検討した。OGTTを施行した83例(男46/女37, 平均年齢52.4±12.2歳(mean±SD))が対象。運動開始前にはDMでは、IGT, NGTに比較して、血中リノール酸濃度が有意に低かった。独自のトレッドミルプロトコールKEIO-SENIORで運動処方をした43例(男15/女28)で、運動処方6ヶ月後に有意な減量効果、血圧改善、糖代謝指標の改善を認めた。12例(男6/女6)で、運動開始時から約2年後に、リノール酸濃度について、その変化量と内臓脂肪面積との変化量との間に有意な逆相関がみられた。 We evaluated the relationships between the composition of free fatty acids (FFA) and metabolic parameters, including body fat distribution. The study subjects were 83 Japanese (46 men/37 women) who underwent 75g-OGTT. 24 fractions of serum FFA, lipids, and fat distribution by CT scanning were measured. Our data suggest that linoleic acid level was inversely correlated with accumulation of visceral fat in relation to a reduction of insulin resistance. We evaluated an original treadmill protocol "KEIO-SENIOR" which we developed for patients with diabetes who need exercise prescription. The study subjects were 43 Japanese. Based on our findings, we made an exercise prescription. After 6 months, we found significant weight reduction, decreased blood pressures and improvement of glycemic control. We followed 12 subjects for about 2 years. Our data suggest that the changes in linoleic acid level were inversely correlated with the changes in visceral fat in relation to insulin resistance.
