18世紀後半にフランスで発達したジャンルである描写詩は、四季の変遷とともに変化する自然の姿と、自然と調和して生きる人間のさまざまな感情を歌ったものである。本研究は、詩人たちが自然の事物を描き、人間の感受性の働きについて考察する際、ビュフォンの『博物誌』から受けた影響について明らかにした。そして、いまだ十分に研究されていない描写詩というジャンルの重要性を強調し、自然科学と文学の密接な関係を浮き彫りにした。 The Descriptive Poesy, a genre that developed in the second half of the Eighteenth Century of France, chants not only diverse aspects of the nature that changes with the seasons, but also various sentiments of human beings who live in harmony with the nature. This research revealed the influences of Buffon's Natural History over the poets when they described natural beings and reflected on sensitivity functions. It pointed up the importance of the Descriptive Poesy, a genre that has't yet sufficiently examined, and made clear close relations between natural science and literature.
