本研究は, 近代中国の民間宗教のテキストである「宝巻」を対象に, 中国文学・歴史研究・宗教学・文化人類学など, さまざまな分野から学際的研究を行ったものである。中心としたのは, 広島大学の太田出が収集した未整理の資料約200件で, これを1件1件検討し, 現地調査ともリンクさせることで当該資料の分析を進め, 以下の成果を公表した。 (1) 解題目録。書誌情報を採集した上で撮影作業を行い, 詳細な目録を作成した。 (2) 関連する論考。当該資料を分析することで, 従来の宝巻文学・民間宗教史を再検討し, また宝巻の流通および受容層の解明を行って, そこで得られた知見を順次発表した。 This project is the interdisciplinary research on "Baojuan" : popular religion texts in Modern China, consist of researchers with different disciplinary backgrounds (Chinese Literature, Historiography, Religious study and Anthropology). This research mainly based on about 200 undisposed-of texts collected by Izuru OTA of Hiroshima University. Through investigations and discussions on every texts, also considering the results of field works, we published following research results : (1) The annotated bibliography. Taking bibliographic information and photographs of every texts, we made the detailed bibliography of OTA's Baojuan collection. (2) Related disquisitions. Through the analysis of materials we reconsidered the conventional description of Baojuan literature and Chinese popular religion history and elucidated the matter of distributions and recipients of Baojuan, our members conducted some conference presentations and presented research papers on these new findings.
