本研究は, 層状の結晶構造を有する材料を原子層1枚レベルまではく離させたモノレイヤーについて, その横幅サイズ・表面修飾・特性の制御を行うことを目指して研究を行った。層状化合物のナノ結晶を作製し, これを溶液反応によってはく離させることで, 横幅サイズが数ナノメートルかつ厚さが原子層レベルのモノレイヤーナノドットを作製することができた。また, これらの表面修飾や分散性を制御し, 特性との関係を調査した。 The present work focuses on the monolayered nanodots with the atomic-scale thickness and single-nanometer lateral size. Control of lateral size, surface chemistry, and property is achieved on the monolayered materials based on transition metal oxides, such as titanium, tungsten, and manganese oxides.
