前立腺癌の罹患率は急速に増加し, 限局性前立腺癌に対する前立腺全摘術の施行数は今後ますます増加することが予測される。手術後, 再発の確率が高い群と低い群と層別化し, 再発の確率が高い群をより厳重に経過観察することが医療経済の面からも不可欠であると考えられる。本研究から前立腺癌においてGEP100-Arf6-AMAP1pathwayを構成するsignalの高発現は前立腺全摘術後のPSA再発を予測する有用な因子である可能性が示唆された。 The morbidity of prostate cancer has been rapidly increasing, therefore, it is expected that radical prostatectomy for localized prostate cancer will increase in the future. Thus, the elucidation of the novel and strong predictor for recurrence after surgery is essential from the viewpoint of medical economy. It is suggested that the strong expression of signal of GEP100-Arf6-AMAP1 pathway is a useful predictor for PSA recurrence after radical prostatectomy from the present study.
