本研究では, 顧客が戦略的に振舞う状況において, 企業の最適方策を, 価格設定, サービス提供方法の面から検討した。具体的には以下の3つの問題を扱った。第1の問題では, バーゲンセールを期待する戦略的顧客に対して安売りを避けて期待利益を最大化するための動的価格設定方法を考案した。第2に, 潜在的競合他社に直面する特許保持者にとっての, 最適なライセンス料設定方法を開発した。第3に, なるべく待ち時間を減らそうと行動する顧客に対して, サービス優先権を設定することによりシステム全体の混雑緩和を計る方法を開発した。 This study focuses on the product/service provision and pricing when the customers behave strategically. More specifically, we consider the following three problems. The first problem deals with a dynamic pricing method that maximizes the expected profit of a seller in the presence of strategic consumers who try the exploit bargain sales. In the second problem we consider a patent holder facing a potential rival and develop an optimal licensing scheme. In the third problem, we develop a method to alleviate congestion of the system as a whole by allocating priority to self-motivated customers
