担癌状態と治療後の時点の同一の子宮頸癌患者の血清を用いて, 子宮頸癌で高発現するmicroRNAを同定した。担癌状態で4倍以上になっていたmirRNAは12種であった。これらの中から, miR1246, miR4306およびmiR1290を同定した。これら3つのmicro RNAは, 子宮頸癌での報告はない新規micro RNAであった。これらの3種のmicroRNAについて細胞増殖に関与するか検討したところ, miR1290が細胞増殖に関与することが示された。miR1290は子宮頸癌の悪性形質に関与する可能性がある。 Using the same cervical cancer patient's serum obtained at 2 points – before treatment and after treatment, we identified microRNAs to be highly expressed in cervical cancer. Micro RNAs that were equal to or greater than 4 times before treatment was 12. Out of these 12 micro RNAs, miR-1246, miR-4306 and miR-1290 were identified. These three micro RNA was novel micro RNAs, these has not been reported in cervical cancer. Proliferating assay revealed that miR-1290 was involved in cell proliferation. miR-1290 there is likely to be involved in the malignant transformation of cervical cancer.
