本研究では, 中高年期の仕事の複雑性及び職業性ストレス経験と高齢期の認知機能の関連を検討した。研究1では, 中高年期の職業性ストレスを包括的に測定する尺度を作成した。研究2では, 634名(女性50.5%, 平均73.0±0.9歳)のデータを用い, 記憶, 推論, 総合的な認知機能を各従属変数とした重回帰モデルを性別に層化して分析した。総合的な認知機能においてみ, 仕事の複雑性は正の関連が, 職業性ストレスは負の関連が示された。しかし, 仮説とは異なり, 職業性ストレスの項目には認知機能との間に正の関連を示す結果も示され, 一貫した結果は得られなかった。項目の精査及びライフコースを考慮した検討を行う必要がある。 This study examined whether complexity of work and job strain through the lifetime work might be associated with cognitive function in old age. We developed a new comprehensive scale for job strain in Study 1. In Study 2, we performed multiple regression analyses stratified by gender, using 634 participants data (women ; 50.5%, mean age ; 73.0±0.9 yeas old). Results indicated that job strain was negatively related with the comprehensive cognitive function, independently from complexity of work with data. But the results were not consistent in this study. However, contrary to the hypothesis, some variables of the job strain scale were positively related with the cognitive function. Therefore, it is needed to elaborate the scale and to construct analysis model considering their life course.
