金属/強磁性体界面におけるスピン流生成とスピン流を介した物性制御に取り組んだ。スピンポンピングを用いたスピン流生成について, 強磁性半導体と金属間のスピン流生成を実証することができたものの, スピン流誘起物性制御の観測には至らなかった。常磁性金属Ptについては, 高調波ホール電圧測定によるスピン流の精密測定を行った。その結果, Ptにおいて生成されるスピン流量の温度依存性は小さいことが明らかとなった。このような高調波ホール電圧測定を遂行していく中で, 界面スピン蓄積によって駆動されるスピン流の影響を考慮する必要が示された。本研究で得られた知見は, 今後のスピン流の研究に対して役立つものと期待される。 We investigate generation of spin current at a metal/ferromagnet semiconductor interface. By conducting angular-dependent spin pumping measurements, we successfully separate the voltage induced by the inverse spin Hall effect from the galvanomagnetic effect, which indicates the generation of spin current at metal/ferromagnetic semiconductor interface. We also studied the spin Hall effect by means of the harmonic Hall voltage measurements. By precisely measuring the spin current generated by the spin Hall effect, we find that the spin Hall effect in Pt exhibits small dependence on temperature. We also find that the spin current driven by the spin accumulation can be detected by the harmonic Hall voltage measurement. Our findings establish an effective approach to precisely measure the spin Hall effect, which will play an crucial role in the fundamental research on spintronics.
