拡張現実(Augmented Realty : AR)とは, 周囲を取り巻く現実環境に情報を付加・強調させ, 文字通り人間から見た現実世界を拡張する技術である。我々はこの技術を応用し, 乳房温存手術において必要にして十分, かつ最低限の切除範囲を手術中に正確に認識可能なナビゲーションサージャリーを実現することを目的とした。本研究では, iPadなどのタブレット端末から, マーカーとなる一筋のレーザー光を発生させ, 文字通りそのレーザー光で患者の乳房を「切った切断面」のMRI画像をタブレット端末に表示させる装置を開発した。今後この技術を発展させることで, 近い将来の臨床応用を模索していくことが可能である。 This study introduces an interface that helps understand the correspondence between the patient and medical images. Surgeons determine the extent of resection by using tomographic images such as MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) data. However, understanding the relationship between the patient and tomographic images is difficult. This study aims to visualize the correspondence more intuitively. We propose an interactive visualizer for medical images based on the relative position and orientation of the handheld device and the patient. We conducted an experiment to verify the performances of the proposed method and several other methods. In the experiment, the proposed method with a line laser showed the minimum error.
