小児期発症の原発性副甲状腺機能低下症患者を対象に既知責任遺伝子および候補遺伝子の網羅的遺伝子解析を行い, 本症の分子基盤を解明することである。解析対象症例は全部で29症例であった。そのうち既知責任遺伝子変異陽性12例, 候補遺伝子変異陽性6例を認めた。本研究における既知責任遺伝子の変異頻度は41％であった。候補遺伝子に同定された6つの変異については, すぐには疾患と変異との関係性を断定できないため, 両親に同一変異が存在するか, 両親解析を行うなどして, 今後さら病因であるかどうかを検討する必要がある。 To determine the molecular genetics in child onset of primary hyoparathyroidism patients, we used comprehensive genetic analyses. The study subjects were 29 non-consanguineous Japanese primary hypoparathyroidism patients. We identified 12 mutations in resposible genes and six in cadidate genes in primary hypoparathyroidism. The prevalence of genetic causes of primary hyoparathyroidism in the eight resposible genes was about 41%.
