本研究では, 動作中のナノデバイスの温度分布をナノスケール空間分解能でセンシング可能な新しい測定技術を開発し, ナノデバイス制御へと応用することを目的としている。本研究において, ナノスケール空間分解能を実現する近接場蛍光熱顕微鏡ならびに近接場偏光熱顕微鏡を開発し, その妥当性を解析的かつ実験的に明らかにした。特に, 融着型近接場ファイバプローブを新たに提案し, 高感度に局所的な温度センシングに成功している。また, ナノデバイスの構造を制御することで, ホットスポットを制御できることを明らかにした。 The nanoscale optical thermometry is strongly demanded for the thermal design of nanodevices. In this study, non-contact temperature measurement techniques using a near-field fluorescence and a near-field polarization were developed. The highly efficient near-field optical fiber probe was proposed using the fusion splicing technique with the photonic crystal fiber. In the experiments, the temperature dependence of the near-field fluorescence and the near-field polarization was detected with 70 nm apertured near-field optical fiber probe, and the validity of the methods was analytically and experimentally confirmed. Furthermore, these findings indicated the adequacy of the thermal control of nanodevices.
