本研究は, 東アジアで形成されている国際的生産・流通ネットワークの形成メカニズムを解明し, その国内経済に対する詳細な影響を明らかにすることを目的とする。本研究では, 国際的生産・流通ネットワークの中核をなす多国籍企業の国際的な生産拠点の再配置・生産工程移管の要因を解明するため, 日系多国籍企業のデータを整備し, 多国籍企業の海外立地要因や販売・調達パターンの変化の動向を分析した。また, 多国籍企業の海外展開の拡大が, 進出先の地場企業にどのような影響をもたらすのか, また, 自国の当該企業の国内雇用にどのような影響を持つのかを分析した。 The aim of this project is to investigate how international production and distribution networks have been developed in East Asia and to examine the impacts of such networks on the economy. In particular, we focus on the activities of multinational enterprises (MNEs), which have played a central role in the formation of international production networks. Specifically, we study their location choice abroad and how they change their sales and procurement patterns. The impacts of their entry on the productivity of local firms are also explored.
