本研究では, この10年間に社会科学全般で爆発的に普及した介入効果・因果効果推定法について, 特に心理・教育分野において重要な研究デザインである様々な準実験デザイン, 学校－教室－個人などの階層性のあるデータ, メタ分析, 発達データ等のパネル調査やテスト実施に必要とされる等化をルービン因果モデルによる統一的な枠組みで表現し, どのような研究デザインにどのような仮定が必要かを明確化するとともに, これらに対して精度の高く頑健な因果効果推定法を開発する方法を開発し, いくつかの応用研究を実施しその有用性を確認した。 In this research, we re-defined and integrate several concepts and research designs used in psychological and/or educational sciences, such as quasi-experimental designs, hierarchical data (e.g., schools-classes-individuals), meta-analysis, panel studies in developmental sciences, or various designs in test equating, in terms of Rubin's causal model. Under the proposed unified framework, we specified the assumptions for the above models to be identifiable, and developed the estimation methods which are efficient and robust. We also applied the proposed methods to various real data analysis and found interesting implications, which confirmed the validity of the proposed methods.
