本研究における目的は, 中世後期の人間が経験した宗教的体験の意味を検証することである。この目的のために「聖なるもの」の根本機能を究明しようとしたのは, これが古典文学のみならず, 現代哲学にも大きな役割を果たしているからである。アガンベンの『ホモ・サケル』を下敷きに, この概念が人間の死と深く関連し, それゆえ神話的な意味をもっていることを,日本独文学会主催の「文化ゼミナール」での研究発表において, 論証した。このシンポジウムにおいて, ユッタ・エミング教授(ベルリン自由大学)と, 宗教的体験についての意見交換をした。さらにこれに引き続き, ドイツでエルケ・ブリュッゲン教授(ボン大学)とフランツ=ヨーゼフ・ホルツナーゲル教授(ロストック大学)とノルベルト・エーケ教授(パーダーボルン大学)と面談をおこない, 今後の共同研究の可能性について打ち合わせた。 In the present study my original intention was to examine the meaning of religious experiences of the people in the late middle ages. The purpose was hence to explicate the fundamental functions of the sacredness which plays a important role not only in the ancient literature, but also in the modern philosophy. On the basis of Agamben's "Homo Sacer", I gave a lecture on the "Kulturseminar" of Japanease Society of German Studies in which I asserted that this term "sacred" is used with the death of the people together and therefore depends on a mythological significance. In this Symposium I exchanged opinions about religious experienes. Afterwards in Germany I had a meeting with Mrs. Prof. Elke Brueggen (University Bonn), Mr. Prof. Franz-Josef Holznagel (University Rostock) and Mr. Prof. Norbert Eke (University Paderborn) and discussed with them about the future cooperations.
