2年目の本年度は, 上記の研究課題のもと, 関連図書を購入すると共に国内出張を実施した。研究上の必要から出張先を変更した以外には, ほぼ当初の予定通りに予算を執行した。以下, 本年度公にした成果について述べたい。まず, 慶應義塾大学2017年度山本敏夫記念文学部基金講座「宗教と社会」が浅見雅一文学部教授のコーディネートのもと「キリスト教と寛容 : 16・17世紀の日本」と題して実施されたが, その一環として2017年4月14日と7月14日に慶應義塾大学で「「寛容」をめぐる政権と仏教勢力」と題して講演した。その中で, 世界に貫徹し自己にも内在する「心」が仏であると知ることを成仏と見なす, 禅宗の思想(禅心学)に論及した。次に, 4月16日に京都大学で開催された日本史研究会例会において「近世前期における通俗道徳と禅心学」と題して報告し, それを論文化して『日本史研究』第663号に掲載頂いた。この報告・論文でも禅宗の思想に注目し, 民衆の通俗道徳との関連を追究した。それによって, 安丸良夫の民衆思想論を見直す新たな知見を提起できたと考える。一方, 11月18日には龍谷大学で開催された2017年度仏教史学会学術大会で「近世後期真宗学僧の国家祈禱論」と題して報告した。本報告は, 真宗学僧が幕藩領主に対し, 独自の救済思想に基づいて祈禱を説明したことを示したものである。真宗は祈禱をしないという見方を再検討するものでもある。また, 2018年3月14日に大本山増上寺境内の浄土宗総合研究所で開催された所内勉強会において, 「近世の大日比浦と浄土宗」と題して講義した。本講義では, 長門国大津郡大日比浦の地域的特性を踏まえ, 同地で興隆した浄土宗の救済信仰などについて論じた。以上のように, 講演・学会発表・論文作成などを, 概ね順調に行うことができた。学会発表時などの討論も, 有意義なものであった。今後も取り組みを継続し, 知見を発信してゆきたい。 This fiscal year, I purchased books related to the research subject and carried out research trips. Apart from having changed my trip destinations, I almost spent my budget as planned. In addition, I made lectures, presented conferences, and wrote academic papers. Discussions at conference presentations were meaningful. Especially I focused on Zen Spiritualism and Pure Land Buddhism. I would like to continue this research project and disseminate new findings.
