フランスの治安対策・治安法制全般や, 日本国内の治安対策につき継続的に研究を行ったが, 特に, サイバーセキュリティ, テロ対策等について研究を進め, 所要の研究成果を, 論文集, 警察政策学会誌等において公表した。海外調査研究においては, 2017年3月～4月に, フランス・トゥールーズ第一大学警察学研究所を訪問し, 日本の警察や治安制度に関するフランス語による講演を行うとともに, 同研究所所長ほかとフランスの治安制度, 治安対策等に関し意見交換を行った。さらに, 2018年2月には, フランス・アルビ市所在のUMD(仏全土では10か所ある処遇困難な精神障害者の治療施設。触法精神障害者対策で重要な役割を果たす。)を訪問し, フランスにおける触法精神障害者問題について, 同センター所長ほかと意見交換を行った。日本国内の諸制度・諸対策を含めた治安対策全般に関しては, 2017年8月, 慶應義塾大学SFC研究所に, 新たな研究プラットフォームとして「社会安全政策・警察学ラボ」を設置するとともに, 2017年11月23日, 慶應義塾大学SFC主催のオープン・リサーチ・フォーラム(ORF)において, 「社会安全政策・警察学の未来」と題し, 同ラボ設置記念のセッションを開催した。同セッションにおいては, 警察政策学会・社会安全政策教育研究部会の部会長でもある中央大学総合政策学部・堤和通教授, 京都産業大学社会安全・警察学研究所長でもある京都産業大学法学部・田村正博教授(元警察大学校長)をパネリストに招き, ラボ構成員とともにミニパネルを実施し, 実務家, 研究者等数十名の参加を得た。 I published some articles about the public safety policies in France and in Japan. As the research visit in foreign countries, I visited the Police Studies Research Center of Toulouse 1 university in April 2017. I gave the lecture about the Japanese police system and public safty policies in french language. I also changed knowledges and opinions about the security policies in France. I also visited the UMD in Albi (France) in February 2018. UMD is the care unit in the psychiatry, especially for difficult patients such as the patients who committed crimes. I discussed the director about the problems of the care and treatment of such patients. For the domestic security matters, I established the "Public Safety Policy and Police Studies Laboratory" at the SFC Research Institute. At 23th November 2017, I organized the session "Future of the Public Safety Policy and Police Studies" at the occasion of SFC Open Research Forum (ORF).
