本校の科学教育について, より生徒の興味関心を高めるための方法を研究し, そのための環境を構築, 提供するのが本研究の目的である。そのために, 生徒が専門家に直接触れ, 最先端科学を知る機会を設けるため, 科学講演会を企画した。まず, 本校のほぼ全員が慶應大学に進学するという特性を踏まえ, 理工学部に進学して研究可能な最先端科学について岡朋治先生による「銀河系内のブラックホール候補天体」との題で4月21日に実施した(31人参加)。9月29日には, 重力波による新しい天文学の幕開けを平易に解説していただくため, 大阪工業大学の真貝寿明先生に「ブラックホールと重力波」の題で講演いただいた(26名参加)。11月27日にはJAXA宇宙科学研究所の佐藤毅彦先生に「あかつきで進む金星科学」の題で宇宙開発と惑星気象学について講演いただいた(55名参加)。アンケート調査からは, それぞれ非常に高い満足度が観察できた。講演だけでなく, 生徒が直接科学の現場を体験できるよう, 研究施設の見学会を企画した。7月25日には慶應の卒業生が活躍するJAXAつくば宇宙センターの見学会を行い本校, 普通部, 初等部などの児童, 生徒, 教職員29名が参加した。1月10日には国立天文台三鷹キャンパス見学会を行い, 本校生徒, 初等部児童, 教職員ら21人が参加した。また, 7月7日に本校のプラネタリウムを活用した本校地学研究会と横浜市立サイエンスフロンティア高校, 横浜市立みなと総合高校の天文部のプラネタリウム交流会を企画実施した。各校生徒が上演を行い, プラネタリアンの木村かおる先生に指導及び模範上演を行っていただいた。これらの企画についても参加者の満足度は極めて高かった。昨年購入した, 標本や実習用化石を用いた教材開発, 授業実践を行った。特に化石発掘実習については, 短い時間に化石の剖出, クリーニング, 同定を行い, クラス全体で古環境に関する考察まで行える教材を作成しアクティブラーニングの一端を提供できた。年度末には天文教育を題材としたアクティブラーニング型授業のワークショップに参加し, 基本的な考え方や授業の組み立て方などを体験した。これらの実践や経験を踏まえ, 生徒の直接体験が科学的興味を喚起する方法, 環境作りを今後とも継続していきたい。 In this research, we planned science lectures to raise students' interest in science. For the same purpose, we planned and held science tour of the Tsukuba Space Center and the Mitaka Campus of National Astronomical Observatory Japan. In the club activities, we planned a planetarium event to exchange our school's geological study group with the astronomical department of the other school. And we developed active learning class activities using fossils and specimens. Through this research activities increased students' interest in science by various ways.
