• Note (General): type:text; 本年度は, 昨年度に引き続き, 非ベイズ時変計量経済モデルを用いて, G7各国の為替市場における価格付けの効率性と市場統合に関する速度について検証を行った。本年度の研究成果としては, 2本のディスカッション・ペーパーを作成し, 国内外の学会において8回の研究報告を行った。まず, ディスカッション・ペーパーの作成については以下の通りである。Ito, Noda and Wada (2017) "An Alternative Estimation Method of a Time-Varying Parameter Model"および, Ito, Maeda and Noda (2017) "Discretion versus Policy Rules in Futures Markets : A Case of the Osaka-Dojima Rice Exchange, 1914-1939"をArXiv.orgで公開した。次に, 国内外の学会での研究報告は以下の通りである。Ito, Noda and Wada (2017)については, 2017年6月に米国カルフォルニア州サンディエゴで開催されたWEAI 92nd Annual Conferenceおよび, 中国香港で開催されたThe 1st International Conference on Econometrics and Statisticsなどにおいて報告し, 数多くの研究者との活発な議論を喚起した。次に, Ito, Maeda and Noda (2017)については, 2017年5月に慶應義塾大学で開催された社会経済史学会第86回全国大会, 2017年6月に米国カルフォルニア州サンディエゴで開催されたWEAI 92nd Annual Conference, 2017年9月に青山学院大学で開催された日本経済学会2017年秋季大会などにおいて報告し, 討論者の鎮目雅人氏(早稲田大学政治経済学部教授)を初めとした数多くの研究者との活発な議論を喚起した。 Following our preceding years' project based on non-Bayesian time-varying econometric models, in 2017, I examined time-varying behavior of market efficiency and changes in the speed of market integration in foreign exchange markets of G7 countries. Throughout 2017, we wrote two discussion papers and made eight presentations in Japan and the United States. The papers are : (1) Ito, Noda and Wada (2017) "An Alternative Estimation Method of a Time-Varying Parameter Model" and (2) Ito, Maeda and Noda (2017) "Discretion versus Policy Rules in Futures Markets : A Case of the Osaka-Dojima Rice Exchange, 1914-1939". Both the two papers are now online available in ArXiv.org, an influential preprint service. The presentations are as follows. In June 2017, the first paper, Ito, Noda and Wada (2017), was presented in the 92nd Annual Conference held in San Diego and in the 1st International Conference on Econometrics and Statistics held in Hong-Kong, China. It aroused fruitful discussion among the participants in the two conferences. The second paper, Ito, Maeda and Noda (2017), was presented in the following meetings and conferences : (1) the 86th annual meeting of Socio-Economic History held in Keio University in May 2017, (2) the 92nd Annual Conference held in San Diego, (3) the annual meeting of Japanese Economic Association held in Aoyama Gakuin University in September 2017, and other two conferences. This paper also aroused fruitful discussion among the participants including the discussant, Professor of Waseda University, Masato Shizume.
