• Note (General): type:text; 案内サインは機能的であることは必要があるだけでなく, 景観と美しく調和しなければならない。景観に美しく調和する要因を明らかにするための研究を行った。 まず, 案内サインの各大学現状把握を進めるため, 関東圏主要大学に加え, 関西圏主要大学の案内サイン見学を行った。12月初旬に京都大学, 同志社大学, 立命館大学, 関西大学, 近畿大学を訪れた。同志社大学は, キャンパスに残る歴史的建造物のデザインをキャンパス全体のデザインの基本方針にしていた。案内サインもその方針に従っており, 周辺環境と似たデザインと色調を採用していたが, 十分に調和している印象を受けなかった。その原因は, 案内サインのサイズと周辺環境, 設置位置と周辺環境の位置の関係性が最適ではないことにあると考えた。その点の検証を行うため, 優れた関係性から見事な美しさを見る者に与える日本庭園を視察した。 庭園において「庭石」は重要な構成要素となる。庭石のサイズと庭園全体のサイズとの距離感や1つ1つの庭石の距離感が見事に保たれると, 庭園を見る人に美しい印象を与える。特徴的なデザインがされず, 色もつけられていない庭石が庭全体を美しく見せるポイントになっている。この点を案内サインに置き変えて考えてみると, 案内サインが周辺と調和するには, 「デザイン」や「色」以外に「周辺環境との距離感」の確保も重要であることが分かった。それには, 案内サインの原寸大サインを候補地に設置し, 最適なサイズと設置場所の検証する作業が必要になる。 以上の研究成果を平成30年度に予定する三田キャンパス案内サイン整備工事にデザイン選考時の基準に取り入れ, デザイン選考のステップごとに水野大二郎准教授と案内サインデザインのあり方について議論を行いながら, デザインの選考を進めた。 The information sign must be functional but also harmonize beautifully with the landscape. In early December I visited Kyoto University, Doshisha University, Ritsumeikan University, Kansai University, Kinki University. Doshisha University have the basic policy of the design based on the historic buildings design over the entire campus. The guide sign also follows that policy, and the design and color tone were similar to the surrounding environment, but it was not fully in harmony. Because I think it is not ideal relationship between the installation position and the surrounding environment. In order to verify the point, I inspected the Japanese garden which gives visitor spectacular beauty from superior relationships. "Garden stone" is an important component in the garden. It gives a beautiful impression to the viewer of the garden, if it is kept splendid distance between the garden stone and the whole garden or the distance of each one of the garden stones. Even if it is not characteristic, a colorless garden stone has become a point that makes the whole garden look beautiful. When this was applied to the information sign, it turned out that the "sense of distance between the surrounding environment and the information sign" is important in addition to "design" and "color". It is necessary to install the full size signature of the guide sign at the candidate site, and to verify the optimum size and place of installation. We will make the above research results the standard for design selection at Mita campus guide sign maintenance work. I discussed design ideas with Associate Professor Mizuo Daijiro for each step of design selection, and selected the design.
