脳腫瘍の自然発生モデルであるMADMマウスでは、少なくとも２種類以上の腫瘍サブタイプが存在する事が分かった。これらサブタイプを解析した所、上皮成長因子受容体 (EGFR) の発現上昇を認める脳腫瘍と血小板由来成長因子受容体 (PDGFRα) の発現上昇を認める脳腫瘍を認めた。既存薬ライブラリーを用いたドラッグスクリーニングを行い、それぞれのサブタイプに特異的に細胞増殖を抑制する薬剤を得た。 We found that there are at least two subtypes of glioma in our genetic glioma mouse model (MADM). By analysis of these subtypes, we confirmed that one subtype has EGFR over expression and the other has PDGFRα over expression. We treated these subtypes using drug library of our existing pharmaceutical products and discovered the specific cell proliferation inhibitor drugs respectively.
