癌幹細胞マーカーであるCD44v陽性口腔扁平上皮癌細胞を用いてセツキシマブ耐性細胞を樹立し、メタボロームによる代謝解析から、セツキシマブ耐性細胞は親株と異なった代謝経路の活性が高いことを見出した。セツキシマブ耐性化に伴う代謝変化について分子レベルで解析を行い、セツキシマブ不応症例に対する新規治療法を開発することを目的として解析を進めている。 Our group established cetuximab-resistant cells by using oral squamous cell carcinoma cells expressing CD44v, which is cancer stem cell marker. We also found that cetuximab-resistant cells had high activity of metabolic pathways different from those of the original cell strain by metabolic analysis. We continue to analyze at the molecular level of the metabolic changes associated with cetuximab resistance, and aim at developing new treatments for cetuximab refractory cases.
