本研究の問題関心は、阪神・淡路大震災後において、ヒューマンサービスやまちづくり、中間支援活動などに関わる民間非営利組織 (NPO) が、その後どのように展開してきたのかを跡づけ、地域コミュニティ内の他組織とどのような相互作用関係にあるのかを明らかにする点にある。社会学・経済学の関連理論を踏まえ、過去に実施した調査の二次分析、兵庫県および神奈川県の全NPO法人を対象とする定量調査、被災地を中心に活動を行うNPOの定性調査、関連資料分析等を実施した。これらを通じて、参加動向や組織の構造変動、地域関係とNPOの相互作用および組織間関係の構造が見出された。これらの結果は学術論文及び書籍等で発表されている。 This study examined how non-profit organizations (NPOs) have transformed and expanded after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. It also studied the structural characteristics of NPOs and their network. Based on the related theories of sociology and economics, we conducted a secondary analysis of the surveys, a quantitative survey in 2016 and 2017 on incorporated NPOs in Hyogo and Kanagawa Prefecture, and an analysis of related materials. Through these studies, we examined changes in participation trends, structural changes in the organization, interactions between NPOs and other organizations, the process of network formation of intermediate groups, the impact of related policies, and the structure of inter-organizational relationships. These results were published as academic papers and books.
