本研究の目的は、経皮的大動脈弁埋め込み術（TAVI）を実施した患者の中で十分な心機能の改善が得られない症例を調査し、その結果得られた知見から適正なTAVIの適応を検討することであった。TAVI施行後の患者の心機能の変化を調査した結果、右室収縮力が改善している症例においてはTAVI後心拍出量が増加する傾向があることが判明した。また三尖弁の輪収縮機能が低下した症例ではTAVIを実施しても三尖弁逆流が改善しにくい傾向があることが判明した。 The purpose of this study was to investigate patients who had undergone transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and whose cardiac function did not improve sufficiently, and to investigate the appropriate indications for TAVI based on the findings of the study. In patients with improved right ventricular contractility, cardiac output tended to increase after TAVI. It was also found that patients with reduced tricuspid valve annular contractility tended to have less improvement in tricuspid regurgitation after TAVI.
