2018年12月5日に大学共同利用機関法人自然科学研究機構の小泉周特任教授、12月13日に大正大学エンロールメント・マネジメント研究所日下田岳志専任講師の講演をGSECラボで開催した。前者では研究大学という視点から、慶應大学の世界での位置づけについて概要ならびに各部門における詳細なデータをもとにしたプレゼンテーションを21名の職員が受講した。後者では、大正大学で行われているIR(Institutional Research）の現状について、質疑応答を基本とした刺激的なプレゼンテーションを19名の職員が受講した。 2019年3月4日には、黒田が県立熊本高校を訪問し、最近10年間で3分の一に減少した慶應大学への進学の現状を皮切りに、高校の現状や動向のヒアリングを行った。熊本高校の出席者：黒田憲一郎進路指導課長。 2019年3月13日には佐賀大学を訪問し、同大学でのIRの概要を2時間30分にわたり説明を受けた。学長のリーダーシップで立ち上がり、データ収集・分析、IRによる意思決定支援、IR室設置にいたるまでの経緯、業務内容、会議のやり方まで、詳細な報告を受けた。訪問したメンバーは深い感銘を受けた。佐賀大学の出席者：西郡大教育研究院人文・社会科学域教育学系教授、アドミッションセンター長、IR室長、末次剛健志専門職（IR担当）、寺町孝章総務部次長、久保直之、以上4名。慶應大学の出席者：黒田修生塾長室長、市古みどり三田メディアセンター事務長（塾長室兼務）、加賀斉天アートセンター事務長（塾長室兼務）、林しずえ塾長室室員、以上4名翌3月14日九州大学伊都キャンパスを訪問し、同大学のIRの概要を1時間にわたり説明を受けた。佐賀大学とは異なり、研究大学として特化したものであり、しかもアジアを視野に入れたものであることが印象的だった。このキャンパスは2年前に新たに竣工したもので、IR室の説明後図書館も見学した。総面積２万㎡という広大さに圧倒された。九州大学の出席者：井上淳企画部企画課長、後藤哲也企画部企画課課長補佐、門田一隆企画部企画課分析係長、戸川忠嗣企画部企画課分析係、劉沙紀IR室学術研究員、以上5名。 In the research, we were supported by Prof. Amane KOIZUMI (National Institutes of Natural Sciences) and Prof. Takeshi HIGETA(Taisho University) during the December, and discussed the evaluation of Keio University in the current situations. We also visited Kumamoto High School, where the number of students who entered Keio University decreased sharply, and investigated the progress of local high schools. In addition, I visited Saga University and Kyushu University, which have the same organizational structure as Keio University, exchanged opinions and discussed improvements on problems that each university had.
