これまで様々な工学領域（宇宙・情報通信・交通インフラ・ロボティクス等）のシステム設計のために開発・活用されてきたシステムズエンジニアリング・アプローチを、人間・社会等を含む様々なシステムのデザインとマネジメントに役立てようとする研究が重要性を増している。現代社会の課題は、複雑かつ多様な要素が相互に連関しているからこそ、学際的な課題解決のあり方が模索されているのである。そこで本研究では、複数の具体的課題について、多分野の研究者が協働し、国内外の大学・研究機関と連携しながら、システムデザイン・マネジメント思考に基づく多彩な解決法の提示を目指した。その結果、情報技術やエネルギーに関するシステムの課題解決に関して、可視光ビーコンによる通信誘導やその応用研究（春山, Kodama & Haruyama）、電気自動車の普及と二酸化炭素排出の関係から見た日本のエネルギー課題に関する研究（Ishizaki & Nakano）、組織やビジネスに関するシステムの課題解決に関して、現代企業のパフォーマンス向上に寄与する組織風土に関する研究（吉田・高野）、グローバル企業のデータとデジタル化に関するリスク・マネジメントに関する研究（Masuda, Shirasaka, Yamamoto and Hardjono）、人・社会に関するシステムの課題解決に関して、海難事故の要因と防止策に関する研究（井上・高野）、制度改革が政策の方向性に与える影響に関する研究（Winkler & Taniguchi）、学際的実験研究の方法論（Taniguchi）といった具体的成果が生まれた。今後はこれらの成果間の統合や、社会的実装に向けた取り組みを発展させていきたい。 The systems engineering approach which has been developed for engineering fields (space technology, information and communication technology, traffic infrastructure, robotics etc.) becomes more important for various systems including human and social systems. As the problems of the modern society are substantially complicated and linked mutually, interdisciplinary approaches are searching for solution for them. Therefore, in this study, the researchers of many fields collaborated about various problems based on the systems design management thinking in cooperation with domestic and foreign researchers and organizations. As a result, our members produced many researches about information and communication technology, energy problem, risk management, performance of enterprise and interdisciplinary experimental research methods. We aim to integrate these researches and develop social implementation in the near future.
