• Note (General): 出版タイプ： VoR; type:text; 本研究は，再生可能資源を原料とする高伸縮性エラストマーの開発を目的とした．これまで申請者は再生可能資源を原料としたエラストマーの開発に着手してきたが，その力学物性は従来の石油由来エラストマーと比較して劣っており，実用化には至らなかった．そこで，エラストマーの構造中に可逆結合である水素結合を導入することで，その力学物性を向上させることを目的として研究を遂行した． 始めに，4-アミノシクロヘキサノール(ACH)を出発原料として，アミノ基を有するカプロラクトンモノマーの合成に着手した．ACHは植物の成分であるリグニンを抽出・分解することによって再生可能資源として得ることができる．ポリマーを合成した際に，この分子中のアミノ基が水素結合を形成し，力学強度向上につながると考えられる．一方で，アミノ基は重合反応において開始剤としての働きもしてしまうため，副反応を生じさせないためにアミノ基は重合反応前に保護する必要がある．そこで，ACHのアミノ基に疎水性保護基を取り付け，その後にJones酸化，Baeyer-Villiger酸化によりアミノ基を保護した4-アミノカプロラクトン（Np-ACL)を合成した．合成したNp-ACLの化学構造は核磁気共鳴法により解析し，目的とした化学構造が得られていることを確認した． 次に，合成したNp-ACLを開環エステル交換重合法によって重合した．重合反応後，生成物は貧溶媒であるヘキサンで再沈殿させることによって回収した．その後，得られたPoly(Np-ACL)に対し水素添加反応によって脱保護処理をすることで，アミノ基が露出したポリアミノカプロラクトン(PolyACL)を得た． PolyACLについて力学物性解析を行ったところ，極めて脆性であることがわかった．これは，構造中のアミノ基量が高すぎるために，分子鎖の運動性が制限されてしまったためであると考えられる．今後は他のモノマーとの共重合化することで，エラストマーに適した力学物性の実現を目指す． The purpose of this study is to develop a highly-elastic elastomer made from renewable resources. Though the applicant has undertaken the development of the elastomer which is made from the renewable resource so far, their mechanical properties was inferior in comparison with the conventional petroleum-derived elastomers, and it was not suitable for the practical application. Then, the research was carried out for the purpose of improving the mechanical property by introducing hydrogen bond which is reversible bond into the structure of elastomer. First, 4-aminocyclohexanol (ACH) was used as a starting material to synthesize a caprolactone monomer with an amino group. ACH can be obtained as a renewable resource by extracting and decomposing lignin, a component of plants. When the polymer is synthesized, the amino group in this molecule forms hydrogen bond, and it seems to lead to the mechanical strength improvement. On the other hand, since the amino group also acts as an initiator in the polymerization reaction, it is necessary to protect the amino group before the polymerization reaction in order to prevent the side reaction. The amino protected 4-Aminocaprolactone (Np-ACL) was synthesized by Jones oxidation and Baeyer-Villiger oxidation. The chemical structure of Np-ACL was analyzed by the nuclear magnetic resonance, and it was confirmed that the target chemical structure was obtained. Then, the synthesized Np-ACL was polymerized by the ring-opening transesterification polymerization method. After the polymerization reaction, the products were recovered by precipitation in hexane, a poor solvent. Subsequently, the obtained Poly(Np-ACL) was deprotected by hydrogenation to obtain polyaminocaprolactone (PolyACL) with exposed amino groups. PolyACL was found to be extremely brittle by mechanical analysis. This is because the amino group content in the structure is too high and the mobility of the molecular chain is limited. As the next plan, it is aimed that the realization of the mechanical property suitable for the elastomer is conducted by the copolymerization with other monomers.
